- All our fabrics resist stains, mildew and fading, making them easy care and weather friendly.
- Although our outdoor upholstery fabrics are mildew resistant, spores that create mold and mildew thrive in environments with dirt and moisture.
- To deter mold and mildew, always remove wet cushions from furniture frames and perform frequent cleaning and maintenance.
- Como cushion inserts are constructed with a poly-foam core wrapped in a poly-casing to prevent water from penetrating the foam inner core.
- Our upholstered outdoor furniture cushions are constructed of reticulated foam to facilitate drainage.

Care + Maintenance
Aluminum
- Furniture should be thoroughly cleaned often using a soft towel and mild soap.
- In coastal locations, furniture should be washed with a mild soap and rinsed frequently to remove salt deposits.
- A solution of 1:1 white distilled vinegar and water can be used to help remove water spots. Then rinse with water and dry with a soft cloth.
- Metal furniture can be waxed twice a year, or as needed, to protect the finish. Furniture should always be cleaned first.
- Do not use any harsh solvent-based, abrasive or stainless steel cleaners.
Upholstery + Inserts
To prevent embedded dirt stains, use a soft-bristle brush to frequently dust and remove dirt from the fabric.
- Use a mild cleaner with warm water or Fabric Cleaner and a soft-bristle brush and rinse thoroughly.
- Tip cushions on their sides with the zipper facing down and unzipped to ensure that all water drains.
Recommendations
- Furniture should be cleaned periodically and always before storing.
- If furniture is in a saltwater environment, rinse weekly to remove all salt.
- Avoid letting water stand on the surface of furniture and cushions.
- As with all purchases, we recommend using our custom furniture covers for items when not in use; furniture cushions and covers should be clean and dry before covering.
