Powder Coated Aluminum Cleaning + Care + Tips
Our metal furniture is meticulously handcrafted using extruded and cast aluminum components.
The aluminum undergoes a baking process with a resilient polyester powder coat.
To ensure robust joints, the frames are meticulously assembled with precise welds and reinforced stress points.
While highly resistant to rust, powder coated aluminum may experience oxidation if the coating is scratched or damaged.
Furniture exposed to high salt levels in coastal areas, water with elevated pH levels, or garden pesticides can suffer finish damage if not regularly maintained.
Darker finishes absorb more UV rays than lighter ones, resulting in warmth when touched, potentially accelerating fading if left uncovered.
The longevity of your finish is directly linked to your commitment to care and maintenance.
Regularly clean the furniture using a soft towel and mild soap.
Minor surface scratches can be addressed with Aluminum Touch-Up kits.
Avoid using harsh solvent-based, abrasive, or stainless steel cleaners.
