This fire pit grate built from 5/8″ square carbon steel bar stock, fully welded and assembled for long-term structural integrity. The substantial steel bars are spaced to maximize oxygen flow, encouraging hotter, more consistent fires while reducing smoke and incomplete combustion.

An integrated Char-Guard Ember Catch—made from heavy-duty expanded metal—has been expertly fitted and welded to the underside of the grate. This added layer improves burn efficiency, supports charcoal use, and simplifies ash management by preventing embers from dropping below the grate. Finished in a high-temperature black powder coat, the surface resists heat exposure while maintaining a clean, understated look suitable for both rustic and contemporary outdoor environments.

Available in 36″, 38″, 42″, and 48″ round sizes, the grate accommodates a wide range of fire pit dimensions and fireplace configurations. The 4″ leg height lifts the fire base to allow optimal air circulation from below—essential for a steady, well-fed flame.

Installation & Placement

Installation is straightforward and requires no tools. Simply place the grate directly into a compatible round fire pit or corner wood-burning fireplace, ensuring it sits level and centered. The raised leg design naturally positions fuel at the correct height for airflow and combustion.

For care, allow the grate to cool completely before removing ash. Periodic cleaning will extend its lifespan and maintain performance. Over time, natural surface wear may occur due to high heat exposure—this is expected and does not affect structural integrity. When not in use for extended periods, storing the grate in a dry environment is recommended to preserve its finish.
