The Kindt Larsen Tulip Chair by BOXHILL embraces the original designers appreciation of organic lines and textures found in nature. Originally designed in 1940, this modern revitalized piece captures attention with its distinctive look and natural beauty. The design features a curved back of connected rattan arches extending down to the floor with gently curved arms that wrap around the cantilever base. A wide seat and waterfall front add to the comfort of this graceful chair. Handcrafted from natural sustainable Indonesian rattan, the Tulip Chair adds a traditional elevated feel to indoor living spaces.
Materials
- AluRattan - a powder-coated aluminum bent to mimic the curves of natural rattan. The powder coating ensures a surface resistant to knocks and scratches. The material is well-suited to be left outside all year long and is easy to clean.
- ArtFibre - a fibre made of dyed and hard-wearing polyethylene. It is ideal for outdoor use in any climate as it is temperature and UV-resistant. The ArtFibre® is flexible and, when woven, provides optimal comfort and a structure that is strong and can maintain its shape for years on end.
