Askew Outdoor Planter has a modern contemporary style that uplifts the mood of your outdoor space. It offers you 3 materials to choose from. Mild Steel, Powder Coated Aluminum and Cor-ten Steel.

The Powder Coated Aluminum is available in 9 different colors. Black, Charcoal Grey, Hammered Bronze, Hammered Silver, Metallic Silver, Powder Coat Rust, Red, Linen White, and Oxidized Zinc Patina.

The Mild Steel or Cor-ten Steel is made from thick 3/16 carbon steel material with an iron oxide patina. The steel is sandblasted and taken down to bare steel and we then apply our "secret sauce" to help the piece mature and oxidize in a controlled fashion. When your piece arrives you will notice a dusty, powdery iron oxide patina or, rust. Upon placing outdoors, the piece will start to mature and darken. Do not tarp your planter, the tarp will cause the patina to blacken and stop the oxidation process. In many cases, the color of the tarp will transfer to the new steel. During the maturing process keep wet leaves and debris off the piece until the steel matures. Allow the piece to mature with your plantings. Sit back, relax and enjoy your garden.
